Autosport Oil Blue Fluorosilicone - 1 Mtr Lengths

Autosport features a fluorosilicone lining which offers all the benefits of silicone ( flexibility, good temperature resistance, strong aesthetic appeal) but also allows the hose to be used for applications where oil or oil mist, petrol or chemicals may come into contact with the hose e.g .turbochargers, air and exhaust gas systems.

Standard silicone hoses is not oil resistant and will swell with the hydrocarbon permeating through the wall of the hose.

Fluorosilicone can be used on OAT ( Organic Acid Technology) coolants  and certain  rust inhibitors used coolant systems and chemical by-products produced in EGR ( Exhaust Gas Recirculation)  systems. Please check with the CH&C team with specific products to ensure correct compatibility.

Temperature range -50°C to +185°C.

Supplied in 1m lengths as standard.
