The flute protects the cover from abrasion when the hose is dragged along the floor and offers additional grip for users when the hose cover is wet,

Manufactured from a special PVC/Nitrile compound, Flute also has better resistance to attack from oils & hydrocarbons if it comes into incidental contact with them. It is not designed for oil/fuel transfer.

Flute has excellent UV resistance and makes an excellent choice for more arduous water transfer up to 7bar pressure in most industrial applications

Flute conforms to BS 3746:1990 and is RoHS 3 compliant.
