Moon 40bar Steel Reinforced Hi-Temp Air Hose

Moon 40 is an extra heavy duty compressed air hose suitable for working pressures up to 40bar and elevated temperatures up to 120°C.

Moon 40 has an oil mist resistant NBR liner, high tensile steel reinforcement and abrasion, UV and ozone-resistant outer cover.

Outer cover is pin-pricked for use with compressed air. Also, 

Outer cover is MSHA approved for flame retardancy making it suitable for use in mines & tunnels

Designed for demanding applications in hostile environments such as:

• Tunnelling
• Mining
• Offshore Platforms
• Quarries

Due to the high pressures & temperatures involved, we strongly recommend that Moon 40 is swaged using Interlock ferrules & fittings or heavy-duty finger interlock clamps and fittings. All assemblies should be tested to 1.5 x MAWP.

Available in coil lengths up to 61m.
